About the role We are seeking a Donor Relations Manager (DRM) to provide maternity cover during a strategically significant year for our team. This fixed term role will ensure continuity and excellence in the delivery of our well-established donor relations programme at a time when ODAR is about to launch its first institution wide campaign. The DRM will take the lead on managing and delivering a mature, high performing programme of donor stewardship, with a particular focus on project managing key activities to recognise and celebrate our donor community and providing excellent line management to our Donor Relations team. You will ensure that our donor relations strategy continues to run smoothly, maintaining the high standards and personalised approach that underpin our success. Working collaboratively with fundraisers and colleagues across the University, you will oversee the delivery of compelling communications, events and recognition activities that articulate the impact of philanthropy. You will also manage a range of operational processes - from donor data oversight to the creation of bespoke “magic moments” - that contribute to an exceptional donor experience. About you You will be an experienced and confident project manager, capable of taking ownership of a complex, multi‑layered programme and ensuring its seamless delivery. With a passion for delivering an excellent donor (or stakeholder) experience, you will be adept at coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing deadlines and maintaining momentum across a busy annual cycle. You will bring creativity, attention to detail and strong communication skills, along with an enthusiasm for the power of philanthropy and its impact. Applications are now invited for the following posts: Research Assistant Professor (two posts) Department of Sociology and Social Policy (Post Ref.: 26/33) The Department of Sociology and Social Policy brings together scholars with international research experience and publication records in the major areas of Sociology and Social Policy. Over the years, our faculty members have been the recipients of the University’s Research Excellence Award and Teaching Excellence Award. The Department offers undergraduate teaching in Sociology, Social and Public Policy, and Health and Social Services Management, while hosting an MSocSc Programme in Comparative Social Policy (International) (IMCSP). We have been consistently successful in attracting MPhil and PhD students from around the world, particularly the recipients of the Hong Kong RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme, and obtaining the General Research Fund (GRF) and other external competitive grants. General Requirements Applicants should have obtained / been conferred a PhD degree in Sociology, Social Policy or any discipline related to computational social science, or an equivalent qualification for no more than five years prior to the commencement of the appointment, with relevant teaching and research experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English are essential. Experience with conducting state-of-the-art social research will be a distinct advantage. The appointees should be able to take up teaching duties in some of the courses on the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) Programme, including but not limited to: “Introduction to Sociology”, “The Making of Hong Kong”, “Social Innovation Seminar: Dialogue with Change-Makers”, “Non-Profit Organizations and the Voluntary Sector”, “Health and Social Service Project”, “Community-based Social Services” and “Social Innovation & Social Enterprises”. The appointees should be prepared to actively support the coordination and development of our teaching programmes, as well as the research endeavours of faculty members in the areas of Sociology and Social Policy. The University of Nicosia Medical School (UNIC Athens) invites applications from motivated clinical academics for a Teaching and Research Faculty position in Clinical Pharmacology, based in Athens, Greece. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Clinical Pharmacology, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. Advance the School’s mission by leading community outreach initiatives, holding leadership roles in relevant professional societies, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare and regulatory organisations.
