About the Job As an Academic Tutor you will contribute to the planning, management, and delivery of the academic curriculum, that meets the standards of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC): providing, developing and organising an innovative syllabus and course teaching: online and face-to-face; assessment of coursework, examinations, research, and clinical skills; admissions to the course, and our dedication to widening participation and access to the profession; supervising and undertaking research and knowledge exchange; supporting trainee, team, and your own professional and personal development. About you We are looking for tutors with a qualification and substantial experience in clinical or counselling psychology, who are registered to practice with the HCPC. You will have substantial experience of clinical practice, and/or specialist training in an area of practice or research, and a passion for sharing your skills and knowledge with our trainees and colleagues. Previous experience of teaching, assessment, or supervision of post-graduate courses or clinical/counselling psychology trainees is desirable. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers B.Eng., M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes. The University of Hong Kong has a highly ranked engineering school and an active Mechanical Engineering Programme. The Department employs about 35 full-time faculty members and has well-equipped teaching and research facilities and support. The research environment is vibrant.
