We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analytical Research Assistant to support a multidisciplinary research team working on the Research Ireland–funded RENEW project. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to activities related to data analysis, data management, and the development of the Smart Tariff Comparison Tool. The role will focus on supporting the collection, preparation, analysis, and interpretation of energy-related and consumer datasets to inform the development, testing, and refinement of the Smart Tariff Comparison Tool. Working closely with experienced researchers and technical staff, the successful candidate will contribute to analytical workflows, data processing activities, and evidence generation to support project objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career researcher or analyst to gain hands-on experience in applied data analytics, energy research, and digital tool development within an interdisciplinary research environment. Salary: Research Assistant Level I (2026): €33,792 – €34,621 p.a. pro-rata (2 points) Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to join an exciting translational oncology programme focused on improving precision approaches to cancer treatment. Working within a multidisciplinary research environment, the successful candidate will support laboratory and translational activities underpinning an innovative cancer research programme with strong clinical relevance. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with researchers and clinicians involved in advanced cancer biology, experimental therapeutics, and translational research. The postholder will contribute to the establishment and maintenance of experimental systems, processing of clinical samples, and generation of high-quality research data to support programme development.
