Caraga State University – Ampayon Campus

Caraga State University is a public higher education institution located in Ampayon, Butuan, Agusan del Norte, Philippines, with an auxiliary campus in Cabadbaran. It traces its origins to the Agusan Agriculture High School, established in 1946. 

The university’s main campus in Ampayon spans 232 hectares, with 32 hectares dedicated to academic buildings and support facilities, including a gymnasium, while the remaining land is used for research, production, and extension projects. 

Caraga State University comprises multiple colleges across its main campus, including the College of Engineering and Geosciences, College of Education, College of Forestry and Environmental Science, College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, College of Computing and Information Sciences, College of Medicine, College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries, and College of Humanities and Social Sciences. 

The university offers diploma, associate, undergraduate, and graduate programmes, as well as technical and vocational courses, emphasising practical skills, research, and community development.

Caraga State University is affiliated with the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges and the Mindanao Association of State Colleges and Universities Foundation.
