About Cabrini University

Cabrini University was established in 1957 and stands as a small, co-educational catholic institution located in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Until 2016 it was known as Cabrini College, but the state Department of Education recently approved its application for university status.

More than 2,000 students are currently enrolled at both undergraduate and graduate level, and there are more than 35 majors, minors and certifications on offer.

Cabrini was one of the first institutions in the United States to require all undergraduates to complete some form of community service before being allowed to graduate too, and in addition to this, students study the compulsory Justice Matters curriculum which is primarily designed to increase student awareness of social issues.

There are 12 residence halls and an array of university buildings, such as the Founder’s Hall, the main academic building, the Dixon Center and the new Athletic and Recreation Pavilion which between them house a diverse range of sports facilities, and The Antoinette Iadarola Center for Science, Education and Technology, which holds a lecture hall, laboratories and a rooftop observatory.

The university is located in eastern Pennsylvania in a prime spot that allows students to be in some of the most vibrant cities in the United States in just a couple of hours, such as Philadelphia, New York, Washington D.C. and Atlantic City.

There are over 14,000 Cabrini alumni, and among Cabrini University’s notable former students are Jordan A. Harris and James Santora, who are both members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and basketball coach Patrick Zipfel.
