System Engineering: System and Project Management, Model Based System Engineering, System Requirement Analysis, Architecture Design, Verification and Validation testing Digital Supply Chain: Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Strategy and Design, Digital Transformation in Supply Chain Marine Automation System: Marine Electrical Systems, Navigation and Communications Systems, Electrical Engineering Advanced Manufacturing: Cyber Physical Systems, Robotics and Automation, Industry 4.0 (smart maintenance and Industrial Internet of Things) Successful candidates will join the Engineering (ENG) Cluster (one of five academic clusters in SIT) as members of a team of accomplished experts who are passionate about higher education and deeply involved in industry transformation. The appointment will be based on contract renewal basis. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials in the specified subjects. Utilise competency-based education principles to develop course materials and syllabi. Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the academic programs. Qualifications: A MSc or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven teaching experience at the tertiary level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Industry experience in microelectronics, system engineering, digital supply chain, marine automation systems or advanced manufacturing. Experience with online and blended learning methodologies.

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Pūkenga - Lecturer or Pūkenga Matua - Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography to join Te Kura Tātai Aro Whenua - School of Geography, Environmental and Earth Sciences on a permanent, full-time basis. We are seeking applicants with a background in Physical Geography and/or Earth Science. We are especially interested in applicants with experience in fluvial geomorphology or hydrology. However, we also welcome applications from physical geographers or earth scientists with research, professional, and teaching experience aligned with these disciplines. The appointee will join our vibrant academic community, complementing existing research strengths while bringing new perspectives to our teaching programmes. Key responsibilities: Deliver and coordinate high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Hydrology and Physical Geography, implementing innovative teaching methods and mentoring students. Establish and/or develop a robust research programme, secure external funding, supervise postgraduate students, and disseminate research findings. Excellent communication skills with an ability to inspire students through their teaching. A strong record of published academic research or impactful professional practice appropriate for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer. Ability to secure research funding and manage research projects.  Capacity to build connections with a range of groups (such as communities, iwi, government, or professional practitioners). Demonstrated research and/or teaching that engages with and informs contemporary social and environmental issues. Outstanding people and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work closely and collegially with other academic, technical, and administrative staff members to achieve the goals of the School. Working closely with our industry partners, these roles will contribute to the research, design and implementation of next generation intelligent wireless systems that integrate communication, sensing, and computing within a single unified network. These positions will involve advancing fundamental theories and the enabling technologies needed for simultaneous communication, sensing, computing, and AI-driven wireless networking.
