Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University is a Ukrainian state higher education institution with origins dating back to 1630, when a Jesuit collegium in Vinnytsia was established and evolved into today’s university. Officially acknowledged under its present name in 1995, the university stands today as a centre dedicated to training competitive specialists in agriculture and related disciplines.
The university is located on Soborna Square in Bila Tserkva, a city in central Ukraine.
Academically, the university operates six faculties including biotechnology, ecology, economics, veterinary science, law, and linguistics supported by institutes for postgraduate and continuing education. Each faculty is divided into different departments which offer a range of bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral degree programmes.
The university is also home to eight vocational colleges which form a regional university centre.
Academic staff includes eminent scholars such as academicians of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, doctors of sciences, professors, and numerous candidates of sciences across 45 departments.
The university is a leader in applied research, and operates extensive research farms covering more than 1,700 hectares. These farms facilitate experimental work in crop production, animal husbandry, and land management, as well as a variety of other fields throughout the academic year.
