Appointment as Assistant Professor will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Art History or a related field. The position is open to all subfields, preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach introductory courses in modern and contemporary art of Europe and the Americas. The appointee will also supervise postgraduate students and should exhibit a strong interest in, and commitment to, integrating digital technologies and AI into teaching and research. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, independent research programme; excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development; and undertake administrative duties as required. Description The theoretical physics group in the Science Division of New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit an Associate Research Scientist to work on theoretical cosmology including string cosmology and the study of fundamental sources of gravitational waves. The successful applicant will drive independent research on the main open questions facing theoretical cosmology and support research of young postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students. Description The Mathematics Program in the Science Division, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a post-doctoral associate to work on one or more of the following topics: Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, Quantum Chaos, Large Graphs and Quantum Walks. Related areas such as Quantum Information can also be considered. This position is offered through the research funds of Mostafa Sabri. The Mathematics Program at NYUAD is quickly expanding, the candidate will find many international experts and postdocs with whom to interact. Weekly seminars are in place across the various research areas represented at NYUAD. The successful applicant will also receive a mobility credit to participate in conferences. Applicants must have a PhD in Mathematics, with a strong background in one of the advertised topics, as well as an excellent academic record. Candidates with PhDs in Physics or Computer Science may also be considered if they willing to collaborate with mathematicians on these topics.
