Their main role is to assist faculty members with course preparation and delivery, conduct tutorials and support student learning, grade assignments and examinations, provide constructive feedback to students, maintain course-related records and databases, and facilitate communication between students and faculty members. They will also assist in organizing workshops and seminars, and perform any additional duties as assigned. Job Description Teaching and supervision of students in Czech and English within undergraduate and graduate courses focused on social geography, with a specialization in urban studies, socio-spatial inequalities, transformations of cities and regions, and related topics such as environmental change and sustainable development. Research and project activities in the field of social geography and urban studies, focusing on the analysis of socio-spatial processes, institutional frameworks, and policies of urban and regional development. Development of an independent research agenda, including the possibility of building a research team and collaborating with existing research groups at the department on topics such as spatiotemporal mobility, disability and accessibility, and climate change. Skills and Qualifications PhD in social geography, urban studies, sociology, or a related field. Publication record corresponding to the level of an established researcher (R3), ideally with international impact. Proficiency in Czech and English, both spoken and written. Experience in carrying out research and/or applied projects; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
