About the Role This Lecturer in Foundational Sciences (Level B) position plays a key teaching-focused role within the SA Rural Medical (SARM) Program, contributing to the delivery of an innovative, student-centred Doctor of Medicine curriculum delivered across rural South Australia. Based in Mount Gambier, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Years 1 and 2, covering core biomedical disciplines, while applying contemporary pedagogy and education technologies to enhance the student experience. This role will focus on human-oriented technical information retrieval or natural language processing (NLP) research. Set within the Interaction, Technology and Information Discipline, and reflecting a strong human-computer interaction orientation, the successful candidate will also collaborate closely with the Data Science and AI Discipline. Their work will contribute to one or more of the School's overarching themes, including responsible computing and digital health.
