We are seeking a Senior Manager, Enrolment Services to lead a large, high-performing team, consisting of multiple Team Leaders and their respective teams to deliver critical enrolment services across the student lifecycle at University of Sydney. Working under the broad guidance of the Director, Student Services, you will ensure enrolment services are responsive, compliant and aligned to strategic priorities. This role combines operational leadership with service improvement and transformation. You will work in partnership with students, student groups and stakeholders to coordinate processes, systems and services that enhance the student experience, while ensuring strong governance and policy compliance. As part of the Student Services Portfolio within the Division of the Academic Registrar, you will use data, benchmarking and stakeholder insights to drive outcomes, strengthen service delivery and foster a positive, engaged team culture. About you A doctoral qualification in emergency management or a related discipline, or equivalent accreditation and standing. Experience designing and delivering student centred curricula across undergraduate and postgraduate courses relevant to emergency management. Contemporary emergency management / disaster management-related expertise demonstrated through teaching, research and publications. Strong scholarly record with successful grant applications, peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations on emergency management-adjacent topics. This leadership position oversees bereavement care for Tai Po Fire victims and may require irregular hours. A fractional or part-time role may be available for outstanding candidates. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Behavioral Health, Public Health, Mental Health, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years’ work experience in clinical practice and teaching or research. Preference will be given to candidates who have a proven track record of excellence in teaching and demonstrated administrative experience. The ideal candidate must possess excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Duties Manage and coordinate the training programmes of the project; Offer training to professionals on bereavement care and psychosocial topics; Supervise two Research Assistants in conducting evaluative studies; Fulfil any ancillary activities assigned by the Project Director.
