The University of Nicosia Medical School (UNIC Athens) invites applications from motivated clinical academics for a Teaching and Research Faculty position in Endocrinology, based in Athens, Greece. We seek colleagues who embrace student-centred learning, have an internationally visible record of high-quality research, and are committed to excellence in patient care. We particularly welcome applicants whose work engages contemporary developments in precision medicine, digital health, and AI-informed biomedical research and medical education. Applications are invited at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, based on the candidate’s experience and academic record. Essential Qualifications Medical degree. Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Endocrinology or a relevant field. Specialty certification in Endocrinology (Board Certification or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience. Eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in Greece, permitting independent practice of Endocrinology. Proven record of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area. Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought. Excellent command of Greek and English. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Endocrinology, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. Advance the School’s mission by leading community outreach initiatives, holding leadership roles in relevant professional societies, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare and regulatory organisations. The Senior Video Editor draws on extensive experience and technical knowledge to produce both video editing and animation that supports the Faculty's strategic, learning and innovation related projects as well as operational requirements. As a University of Applied Learning, the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) works closely with industry in its research pursuits. This position is situated within the Centre for Immersification, dedicated to applied research in immersive technologies and bridging the gap between academia and industry. Research staff at the Centre have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets relevant to industry demands while working on innovative projects within the university. The research team is seeking a Research Fellow or Research Engineer with strong expertise in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and social science methodologies to lead the user research and policy development, as part of an interdisciplinary team investigating harmful user-generated content in virtual worlds as part of a national research initiative on Online Trust and Safety. The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate users’ experiences with harmful content in these virtual environments, review existing reporting guidelines on these platforms, and evaluate users’ responses to alternative mechanisms. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of faculty members, engineers, and industry partners, including labs at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) at NTU. Technical skills, natural curiosity, versatility, and enthusiasm are highly desired traits that will enable success in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the research project together with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Conduct a comprehensive review of literature, existing safety policies, community standards, and moderation tools currently used in online social gaming platforms Design and execute surveys and interviews to collect data (including participant recruitment) to address the relevant research questions. Perform statistical analysis on survey/experimental data, and Conduct thematic analysis on interview transcripts and open-ended survey responses. To lead and report research findings in a form of high-quality publications and present in international peer-reviewed conferences and journals. Develop policy recommendations based on the research findings. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations.
