R/017/26] Duties Teach courses in English for Academic Purposes, English for Specific Purposes and related areas; Contribute to curriculum design, materials development, and course administration; Contribute to ELT-related projects, services and activities; and Assume administrative responsibilities and/or other duties in support of LC services, activities, and initiatives. Requirements A Master’s/doctoral degree in TESOL/Applied Linguistics or a closely related field [e.g. MA in Second Language Acquisition (English major)] or a Master’s/doctoral degree in a related field with a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. Dip ED in TESOL; Cambridge DELTA), and at least 2 years’ post-TESOL qualification teaching experience at secondary level or above. Substantial experience in teaching EAP at tertiary level and proven experience in the development of materials in both face-to-face and technology-mediated modes would be an advantage. Candidates who, following attainment of their qualifying postgraduate credential, have obtained at least 4 years’ relevant full-time experience at the tertiary level, may be considered for appointment as Instructor I. Candidates with less directly relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Instructor II. Description The Micro- and Nanoscale Bioengineering Lab (MNBL) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a research associate for biosensing of cardiovascular diseases.
