Job Description SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, MARKETING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II (Information Systems) (25260706) The Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems invites dynamic and experienced professionals to apply for a position at the rank of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I/II within our Information Systems and Business Intelligence team. We are seeking individuals with strong technical expertise and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to our growing programmes through innovative instruction, curriculum development, and enhancing students’ technical capabilities. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching and student engagement at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Develop and teach courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, E-Business, Data Management, Management Information Systems, and Python programming; and Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in the field of the application of AI in business. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with a doctoral degree in MIS or Computer Science, who can help integrate technical know-how and academic knowledge with practical industry applications. The position will be located at the Kowloon Tong campus and will be primarily responsible for teaching and assisting in programme management and development. An initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing September 2026 or the earliest available date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Description The Center for Behavioral Institutional Design, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit several postdoctoral researchers interested in exploring the origins of human behavioral diversity, developing empirically-informed models of human behavior, and designing innovative institutions and policies for promoting social welfare. C-BID offers a vibrant and stimulating research environment, with opportunities to engage in high-impact projects and collaborations. Postdoctoral researchers join an active international community of scholars and fellow postdocs and benefit from a world-class seminar series. Description The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience, Energy, and Sustainability (SHORES) and the Division of Engineering (Civil & Urban Engineering) seeks to recruit an Associate Research Scientist to work on a broader field of geotechnical engineering. Required Qualifications: A successful applicant must have a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on one or more of the following: Centrifuge experimental testing (design, execution, and data interpretation). Numerical modeling and simulation to complement physical experiments. (Preferred) Proficiency in CAD and modeling tools such as SolidWorks for experimental design and apparatus development. And possess at least three years of relevant professional experience, not including the years spent obtaining the terminal degree. Additional background in areas such as artificial intelligence applications in geotechnics, geoenvironmental engineering, geohazards risk assessment, or energy geotechnics will be considered an asset. Description The Perception and Active Cognition laboratory in the Center for Brain & Health, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on the mechanisms underlying mental processing speed. The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project that links processing speed measures to previously acquired functional and structural MRI data. The project will also involve simultaneously acquired and co-registered fMRI and EEG measurements. Measures of cognitive “Speed of Processing” are important for studies of healthy aging and many disorders, including multiple sclerosis, autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, and schizophrenia, as well as diabetes and obesity. This project investigates the neural correlates of Speed of Processing and its subcomponents, translating into a more complete understanding of the mechanisms involved and their role in brain health. This project combines MRI and EEG/MEG studies with behavioral, genetic, and clinical measures to yield a more complete picture of how processing speed is related to health outcomes. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students. Applicants must have a PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or a related field. Strong neuroimaging data processing skills relevant to the project are required.
