Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, established on 26 August 1921 under Decree No. 66 as the Higher Pedagogical Institute of Men, is a public university in Baku.
It is dedicated to training highly qualified educators and researchers.
The university offers programmes through faculties including mathematics, chemistry and biology, physics, history and geography, primary and preschool education, philology, arts and physical education.
It also offers specialised programmes such as a dual MA with George Washington University.

About the Role: Victoria University is seeking an experienced and motivated Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Speech Pathology) to take on the key role of Practice Education Lead. In this role, you will lead the coordination and delivery of practice education across the Speech Pathology courses, ensuring students have access to meaningful placement experiences that meet curriculum and accreditation requirements. You will oversee student placements and clinical assessment processes, while maintaining and strengthening partnerships with practice education providers. A key focus of the role is to expand and sustain placement capacity to support the long-term viability of practice education within the program. You will also contribute to excellence in teaching and support the professional development of practice educators through training and ongoing engagement. As Practice Education Lead, you will serve as a central point of contact for students and internal and external stakeholders, supporting the effective administration and continuous improvement of the placement program. Position Details: Academic Level B, $113,221 - $134,449 per annum or Academic Level C, $138,695 - $159,922 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contribution, this is a full-time (36.75 hours per week) ongoing appointment.
