Arts University Plymouth is an independent university run by artists and designers for creative students.
The university has occupied several locations in Plymouth city centre since 1856, now settling in their current undergraduate campus location, Tavistock Place.
The campus has been designed with artists, designers and makers in mind. In the last few years, the university has invested in digital and analogue improvements to improve the teaching facilities for students.
The approximately 2,000 students have access to workshops with specialists and collaborative spaces in 2D, 3D, 4D and digital formats.
The campus is about a 10 minute walk from the city centre, close to coastline, countryside and nightlife.
