Arak University of Medical Sciences is a medical school located in Arak, the capital of Markazi Province, Iran. 
The university is the main healthcare provider in this province, as well as being one of the largest universities in central Iran. First established in 1987, the university had the goal of educating and training new physicians. 
Today it comprises multiple different hospitals and schools including Valie Asr Hospital, which is the biggest hospital in the province, and the Amirkabir Education and Treatment Centre, which is the oldest hospital in Arak and now specialises in ear, nose and throat health, paediatrics, cardiovascular medicine and psychiatry.
Due to the nature of onsite teaching, the school covers an area of more than 10,000 square metres. Along with hospitals, affiliated by Arak University of Medical Sciences, the university has laboratories, dormitories, libraries, sports centres and plenty more facilities for its students.

	Teaching: Strong commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCert) or willingness to obtain one.

About the Role

The Senior Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner) will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching in Nursing across all levels and modes of the College, drawing on contemporary, student-centred learning approaches.

The incumbent will coordinate and contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of Nursing topics, stepping into Topic Coordinator and Course Coordinator responsibilities as needed – primarily supporting the Master of Nurse Practitioner course. About You

You will hold a doctorate in a relevant discipline or bring equivalent professional expertise and recognised standing within the Nursing profession.

Your background will include contemporary clinical experience that you can continue to maintain alongside this role. About the opportunity

The NHMRC CTC is a flagship centre of excellence in clinical trials and related research at the University of Sydney. We design and deliver trials and related research, including coordination, monitoring, data acquisition and management, and statistical analysis. Our health economics, biostatistics, systematic reviews, and biomarker teams work with trial data to inform healthcare providers about best practices.

In this role, you will be supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical trial activities across multiple concurrent projects. Working under the general direction of the Trial Operations Coordinator and Project Manager, you will play a key part in maintaining essential trial documentation, coordinating daily administrative functions and ensuring operational activities run smoothly. You will support staff, study sites and collaborative groups through accurate information management, proactive problem-solving and timely coordination of trial-related tasks. This is a hands-on, fast-paced and detail-oriented role where your organisational strengths and initiative will support the effective delivery of impactful clinical research.

Your key responsibilities will be to:


	Provide high-level administrative and operational support by delivering efficient daily services, coordinating correspondence, and maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
	Coordinate administrative tasks for meetings including preparing materials, organising venues and catering, arranging teleconferences, and taking minutes.
	Develop, maintain and track trial documentation, study materials, online content and relevant databases in accordance with SOPs and project requirements.
	Support ethics and regulatory processes by preparing, distributing and tracking submissions, safety data and study documentation.
	Process site payments and invoices, and maintain up-to-date tracking tools for recruitment, trial supplies, study data and site contacts.

About you


	Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a relevant field.
	Demonstrated experience in high-volume administrative environments, ideally within health or clinical trial settings, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
	Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently under general direction and collaboratively within diverse teams.
	Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, use initiative and exercise sound judgement in resolving issues.
	Working knowledge of clinical trials processes, including ICH GCP guidelines, protocol requirements, medical terminology, and basic clinical trials administration.
	Proficiency with database systems, content management systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including managing electronic documentation and spreadsheets.

The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Asset Pricing. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in this field or a closely related field and have a strong background in research. Relevant international experience is of advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes.

Teaching Responsibilities

In the role of a lecturer, the successful candidate will teach graduate courses in MBA and Master of Global Finance and Economics programs, and undergraduate courses in Business Administration and Finance and Accounting on-site at the VGU campus. The expected workload for the in-class lecture conduction is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes).

Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on the following modules:


	Finance 2 at the level of texts such as Options, Futures, and Other Derivatives by Hull (https://www.pearson.com/us/higher-education/product/Hull-Options-Futuresand-Other-Derivatives-9th-Edition/9780133456318.html).
	Advanced Fundamentals of Asset Pricing topics such as term structure of interest rates, bond pricing, credit and liquidity risk, portfolio theory, equity valuation, hedging.
	Advanced Topics in Asset Pricing such as Behavioral Finance; Big-Data-Based Personal Finance; Computational Finance; Credit Risk Derivatives; Hedge Funds; Investment and Pension Finance; Real Estate Finance; Risk Management of Insurance Companies.


Lecturer is invited to propose semi-elective courses within his/her expertise and in line with the curriculum of the programs. The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of the programs and joint agreement between the lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. Courses may require conducting relevant laboratory activities and/or advising student projects.

The holder of this job is also responsible for supervising bachelor's and master's theses and mentoring PhD students.

Research Responsibilities

As a faculty member of a research-oriented university, the successful candidate is expected to significantly contribute to the scientific profile of VGU through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in the fields of Finance, Economics and Management. The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable.

Administrative responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the bachelor and master Programs by participating in administrative, marketing and other public activities of the program in consultation with the Academic Coordinator of the study program and the German partner university, namely Goethe University Frankfurt. She or he is also expected to contribute actively to the academic self-administration of the Faculty of Economics and Management and university by being willing to stand for election to the Faculty Council, Academic Senate and/or other bodies.

Qualification

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as experience and understanding of the German higher education system and methodology. Other requirements include:

	Proven expertise in Asset Pricing

Alternatively, candidates who do not hold a valid English proficiency certificate at the submission time need to be internally assessed at VGU to meet the criterion stated above.[1]
