The role will focus on developing a sustainable, photosynthetic platform for industrial-scale production of valuable biochemicals from cyanobacteria. These compounds have applications in agriculture, bioremediation, environmental monitoring, and health. To be successful in this role, you will have: Expertise: PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, or related field). Technical Skills: Proven experience in synthetic biology techniques, including microbial culturing and advanced cloning. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, manuscripts, and present research findings effectively. Engagement: Ability to contribute to internal academic service responsibilities, collaborate with colleagues, and begin developing external partnerships, including industry engagement. About the role We are seeking proactive and dedicated Cleaning Supervisors to lead our cleaning workforce and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across our world-class university. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering service excellence and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of the daily cleaning operation across designated areas. Ensure cleaning services are delivered safely and in line with college and departmental standards. Provide hands-on support when required, demonstrating best practice and setting clear standards for the team.
