About the Role: This Teaching Specialist (Academic) position is responsible for contributing to the preparation and delivery of the College’s Foundations and Enabling topics, with a focus on the Maths and STEM areas using innovations in teaching practices and technologies, with support and guidance from a more senior academic to ensure Flinders University. Your primary focus will be on teaching and teaching-related activities, while you play an important role in the University’s achievement of its strategic plan, Agenda 2035. The ability to contribute to engaging and effective learning environments is essential. With proven experience teaching within a relevant discipline at the tertiary level, including the preparation and delivery of curriculum and the design and implementation of student assessments, you possess excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to establish Completion of a PhD in Science Education or the field of teaching or active candidature towards a doctoral qualification (desirable).
