About Andijan State Medical Institute

Founded in 1955, Andijan State Medical Institute was the only higher education institution in Fergana Valley, Central Asia.

The university is located in Andijan, a city in eastern Uzbekistan.

The university is organised into four faculties: faculty of medicine, paediatric faculty, dental faculty, and the faculty of advance training and retraining of physicians. Each faculty consists of different departments, which offer a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
