Associate Professor / Assistant Professor /Research Assistant Professor (Ref: 2600396) Graduate School We are seeking to recruit computational linguistics experts to contribute to our academic and research endeavours. The appointees will contribute to enhancing the University's research capacity and impact on the relevant strategic research theme(s). Responsibilities mainly include: (i) conducting high-quality research, and generating scholarly publications or other significant research outputs; (ii) initiating and supporting research projects and securing external research grants to enhance domain impact; (iii) providing instruction at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels as part of the teaching faculty if appropriate; (iv) engaging in research-related activities with colleagues and Research Postgraduate students. Applicants should have a PhD degree in computational linguistics, computer science (with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP)), linguistics, or a closely related field. Strong research experience and training in large language models (LLMs), computational linguistics, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning for language, visualisation of linguistic data, text mining, social media data analysis, or related areas are highly valued.
