Lecturer in Information & Communications Technology The Lecturer in Information & Communications Technology (ICT) will play a pivotal role in the delivery and continuous development of the Bachelor of Business in Information Technology (BBIT) program at Papua New Guinea University of Technology. The program exists to bridge the gap between business strategy and ICT innovation, equipping graduates with the skills needed to lead digital transformation in PNG and beyond. Primary Responsibilities This role requires a motivated academic who can balance teaching, research, and related administrative service. The appointee will consolidate the full range of functions within the school and maintain high standards of professional practice. Work experience or research interest in one or more of the following areas is preferred: E-Commerce Technologies & Systems, OO Programming, Cloud Computing, Network & Cyber Security and Business Intelligence & Analytics. Options are open to those engaging in other areas in ICT. Key Responsibilities Coordinate at least two of the subjects mentioned above in a semester Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials Participate in curriculum development initiatives Contribute to initiatives that prepare graduates for the digital economy Engage in independent and collaborative research, contributing to the school’s research outputs. We are seeking to hire an outstanding colleague with the potential for research leadership in international law and with a demonstrated interest in issues related to global health. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in law prior to the start of their contract and show excellence in research through completed projects and a promising research agenda. The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Mathematics. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field and have a strong background in research. Relevant international experience is of advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes. Teaching Responsibilities In the role of a lecturer, the successful candidate will teach mathematics courses in the Faculty of Engineering, mainly courses in the Sustainable Process Engineering (SPE). The expected workload for the in-class lecture conduction is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes). Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on the following modules: Linear Algebra and Calculus Advanced Calculus and Differential Equations Probability and Statistics Numerical Mathematics The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of the programs and joint agreement between the lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. We seek candidates with a strong foundation in Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics.
