Role & Responsibilities:

The Scrum Master works collaboratively with technology and business stakeholders to clarify objectives, monitor risks, and contribute to transparent reporting on progress and value.

The post holder supports cross-team coordination and continuous improvement, promoting customer-centric delivery and a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence in support of the University’s Digital and Data ambitions.

Responsibilities include:


	Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) for assigned squads, ensuring agreed processes are followed. 
	Support teams in applying agile principles and encourage a culture of iterative improvement and learning. 
	Assist with the intake of work into squads, helping to clarify scope and priorities, and supporting the management of dependencies. 
	Help identify and escalate blockers, risks, and issues to the Senior Agile Delivery Manager or relevant stakeholders. 
	Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders to support alignment and transparency across initiatives.

About  External Relations Directorate

	Stakeholder Support: Support the School ERD Account Manager in building and managing relationships with key academic stakeholders, including Deans, Heads of Department, and Course Leaders.
	Content & Campaigns: Help deliver subject-specific content initiatives and marketing campaigns that align with broader institutional priorities.
	Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, ensuring that academic Schools are updated on progress and outcomes.
	Event Participation: Support the delivery of major recruitment events, including open days and offer holder days, both on and off-campus.


About You

You are a results-driven marketing professional with a high level of attention to detail and experience in executing multi-channel campaigns. You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt information based on feedback and present it clearly to various audiences. You are a proactive problem-solver who can use your initiative and creativity to resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines. While experience in Higher Education recruitment and knowledge of admissions cycles is a significant advantage, we also value experience in using enterprise marketing software such as Google Analytics. The Center for Interdisciplinary Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CIDSAI) at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a highly motivated researcher to work within its foundation cluster, led by Professors Pierre Youssef, Keith Ross, and Saurabh Ray.

The position will contribute to CIDSAI’s efforts to design AI systems that advance scientific and mathematical discovery, combining machine learning, reasoning, and human-AI collaboration. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic research environment at the intersection of data science, artificial intelligence, and mathematics, alongside faculty and researchers across disciplines.

The successful candidate will contribute to one or more of the following components:


	Reinforcement Learning for Reasoning
	Formal Verification and Lean Automation
	AI-Assisted Collaboration and Problem Formulation


Preference will be given to candidates with strong background in machine learning and mathematical reasoning and experience in one or more of the following:


	Large Language Models (LLMs), multi-agent systems, or reinforcement learning.
	Formal proof assistants (Lean, Coq, Isabelle, or similar).
	Programming.
	Strong mathematical maturity.


Requirements:a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or computer science, with evidence of strong mathematical and computational skills.

The appointment is for two years, with the possibility of renewal. The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children. Your Responsibility

The purpose of this role will be to assist and support the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in carrying out academic research which include literature searches, developing questionnaires, conducting surveys, carrying out analyses and tests and drafting of reports.

	To maintain appropriate professional development, expertise and awareness.

About You

Candidates must have a PhD degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferable in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese, and high analytical ability to analyse and illuminate data, interpret reports, evaluate and criticise texts, and bring new insights are necessary. Evidence of sufficient breadth or depth of research methodologies and techniques to work in the research area of chemistry and chemical engineering are also essential.
