Established in 1987, Al-Nahrain University is located in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
The university has two different campuses, both in central Baghdad. There’s the main campus in Jadriya, which focuses on engineering, science, political science, information technology engineering and business economics. It also has biotechnology facilities including a biotechnology research centre, a renewable energy nanoparticles centre and a computer centre.
The other campus in Kadhimiyah includes schools of medicine, law and pharmacy. It’s also home to the higher institute for the diagnosis of infertility and assisted reproduction techniques.
Within these areas of study, students can gain both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
On campus, students will find dormitories as well as classrooms, a library and restaurants.
Al-Nahrain University has established relationships with universities around the world, carrying out various exchange activities such as academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and the opportunity for students to study abroad.
