The University of Al Maarif was founded in 1993 in Ramadi, part of the Al-Anbar Province of Iraq. The university’s focus is on science and technology. It is a privately-owned university with nine departments; Arabic language, banking and finance, civil engineering, computer science, computer technology engineering, English, law, pathological analyses and physical education. Throughout these departments, learning is focused on both theory and practical work to offer the highest standard of education.
