Part-time Faculty Member in Music Performance (Ref: SCC260612) The Department of Music (DMUS) at BNBU invites applications from learner-centered scholars/practitioners in the field of music to teach voice (popular) to undergraduate students in the Music Performance programme. Qualifications: A Master’s Degree, PhD or DMA in Music Performance or Music Education, specialising in popular and contemporary voice instruction. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have international teaching experience in a higher education setting. Evidence of success in the organisation and coordination of musical performances is a plus. Candidates should have the ability to: Teach Private Instruction courses and supervise students in popular voice Demonstrate good communication skills in English, both oral and written Keep abreast of regional, national, and international developments and initiatives in music and the music industry. Proficiency in English is required. English is the medium of instruction in the Music Performance Programme.
