This innovative program has been designed to prepare graduates for professional practice as an exercise scientist and an exercise physiologist. . Delivered within a highly personalised teaching environment, the program reflects Bond’s strong industry engagement, applied focus, and commitment to producing work‑ready graduates. We are seeking a passionate and student‑focused academic to contribute to teaching across exercise science and exercise physiology curricula. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, practical classes and workshops, contributing to subject coordination, assessment and student consultation, and supporting high‑quality learning experiences across the discipline’s programs. A strong emphasis is placed on applied teaching, clinical relevance and alignment with Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA) accreditation standards. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive academic team, working closely with industry and clinical partners, and contributing to placement supervision, program development and student recruitment activities. About the person We are looking for a motivated and engaging educator who is committed to excellence in teaching and enjoys translating exercise science into meaningful, practice‑ready learning experiences for students. The ideal applicant will have the following: Accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) with Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA), or eligibility for accreditation The capability and confidence to teach across exercise science and exercise physiology content areas, including applied and clinical subjects A Bachelor degree with Honours level qualification in a relevant discipline A postgraduate qualification (PhD or Master’s) in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or a closely related discipline is expected at Assistant Professor level Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in higher education, with experience delivering lectures, tutorials and practical classes Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues and industry partners Experience or interest in curriculum development, practicum or placement supervision, and professional or clinical engagement Additional credentials. including accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), or eligibility for accreditation (desirable) and/or ASCA Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation are highly desirable. Schemes of Service: Research Division: Infocomm Technology Employment Type: Fixed Term As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to design, develop and evaluate schemes for quantum key distribution networks and systems. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Design, develop and evaluate solutions given problem statements in key generation and relaying across multiple hops in quantum key distribution (QKD) networks. Demonstrate functionality of solutions. Document and publish the project works. Job Requirements: Have relevant knowledge in the areas of quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, e.g., BB84, E91, MDI, TF, etc. If there is no prior experience, it is acceptable if the candidate can self-learn the knowledge within a short time (e.g., 1 month). Have a degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent. Possessing a Master’s or PhD degree will be advantageous. Experience in designing, developing and evaluating solutions for a given problem statement using simulation tools, such as Matlab, Python, etc., and documenting and publishing the works in technical reports or papers. Knowledge of network placement optimization for various topologies, e.g., Erdos-Renyi random network, scale-free, small world, etc, will be advantageous. key Competencies: Understand existing quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, networks and systems. Able to perform resource placement optimization in computer/communication networks. Proficient in technical writing and analytical skills. Show strong initiative and take ownership of work. Description The Research Center on Stability, Instability and Turbulence (SITE) a center of the Research Institute, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work in the fluid mechanics laboratory for experimental fluid dynamics.  SITE is inviting applications for fully-funded postdoctoral research associate positions. SITE is highly interdisciplinary and aims to develop novel enabling technology on hydrodynamic stability analysis that has applications in the study of the development of singularities, the long-time behavior of complex systems, the formation of spatial patterns, the transition between stability and instability, and the first steps of transition towards turbulence that appear in several disciplines across science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and innovation. Candidates must hold (or be close to completing) a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Applied Physics or a related field. Working in a newly established fluid dynamics laboratory at NYU Abu Dhabi, candidates are expected to have a strong interest in experimental research and collaborate with applied mathematicians closely.
