Université Akli Mohand Oulhadj – Bouira traces its history back to 2001 when it was established as part of the Bougherra Mohammed University of Boumerdes in Bouira. In 2005, it became an independent academic centre with the addition of new specializations in economics, business, and management sciences. The centre attained full university status in 2012 and became Université Akli Mohand Oulhadj – Bouira. Situated in Bouira, a city in north-central Algeria, it is known for its role as a market centre for a low-yield olive and cereal-producing area. The university comprises six faculties, each housing various departments offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. Additionally, two institutes contribute to the institution's academic offerings. The university's Intensive Language Teaching Centre supports language learning, improvement, and retraining courses while overseeing specialized language teaching equipment. Research is a significant focus of the university, with innovative projects conducted in various subject areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Faculty at the University of Nicosia are responsible for delivering high-quality, coordinated teaching and following university academic procedures. They must prepare course outlines that match approved syllabi, work with academic leaders on textbook selection, and use a range of assessment methods to monitor and support student progress. They are also expected to protect exam materials, invigilate exams, follow final examination regulations, keep accurate grade and attendance records, report excessive absences, retain assessed work as required, and submit an end-of-semester online portfolio. In addition to teaching, faculty are expected to support students through advising hours, discussions of exam results, progress evaluation, and recommendation letters. They must also contribute to university life by attending meetings and participating in professional development. Professional conduct is a key expectation, including appropriate appearance, fair and unbiased treatment of students, avoiding political influence in teaching or assessment, and not participating in illegal organizations. The Role and the Department A newly created role within the University Finance Team, for a Senior FP&A Manager, responsible for the timely preparation of Budgets and Forecasts at a Consolidated level, covering Income and Expenditure, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Reporting. Prerequisites of the role include forecasting accuracy through robust processes which evaluate and appraise key management information and ensuring data integrity. This position is key to delivering Financial Insight through visual representation and supporting the Universities long term financial ambition of delivering self-serving stakeholder solutions. The role sits within the Financial, Planning and Reporting (FP&R) Team, reporting into the Head of FP&A and working alongside the Reporting Manager and Reporting Analyst, who will provide essential guidance and support to achieve set objectives. Critically, attention will be given to Balance Sheet and Cashflow scenario planning through sensitivity drivers to mitigate financial risk. Other duties will include the execution of improved financial processes, management of the FP&R Calendar and associated tasks with targeted deadlines, analytical solutions, standardising university wide financial templates and stakeholder engagement. This is a role that will realise financial creativity through enhanced financial insight to aid decision making. The study involves co-producing and testing the acceptability and feasibility of an evidence-based psychological intervention to reduce anxiety in patients with atrial fibrillation. The role includes developing intervention materials through co-design and then delivering the intervention as part of acceptability and feasibility testing. Limited travel to regional South Australia may be required. Work that matters The Core Responsibilities of the position include: Lead ethics approval and reporting processes related to the project. Manage the logistical elements of the project including participant recruitment and scheduling, along with communication between investigators. Coordinate the development of new intervention materials through co-design. Facilitate focus groups, workshops, and interviews with cardiac patients and health professionals. Lead the delivery of acceptability and feasibility testing, including administering the intervention and collecting qualitative and quantitative outcome data.
