About the opportunity Join the Division of the Academic Registrar within the University of Sydney as the Senior Manager, Review and Reporting Services to oversee the review and reporting function, leading the operational management of course review activities and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with the Deputy Registrar and Executive Director (Curriculum and Policy), the Senior Manager will leverage their extensive course review and development experience and be responsible for activities that support the review, analysis, consolidation of clear and implementable recommendations for course solutions and aligned with institutional curriculum principles and requirements, regulatory and professional accreditation requirements. The Senior Manager, Review and Reporting Services will facilitate effective communication, partnership and engagement with teams responsible for policy, governance, regulatory affairs, compliance, course development, design and implementation, and faculty and University school stakeholders. The Senior Manager will enable practical implementation of recommendations arising from course reviews and supports faculties and University schools in translating outcomes through to implementation. Ensuring that the team provides effective in-depth analysis and assessment, leveraging industry best practice through benchmarking and assessment, providing recommendations, and progressing the next stages of work where applicable to teams within the Curriculum and Policy team in the Division of the Academic Registrar, across the Education and Students Portfolio, and faculties and University schools for development or other adjustments as required. About the Project This collaborative project “Fast forward computation of radiation transport for emergency response, environmental protection, and national security applications” brings together Swinburne, DMTC, DSTG, and CSIRO to advance Australia’s capability in homeland security and nuclear safety. The research focuses on developing fast forward computation algorithms for radiation transport in complex radiation environments, supporting national priorities in radiation safety, environmental monitoring, and nuclear security.
