Fixed Term – 18 months Full Time Position based at Bundoora Salary Level B starting from $114,855 plus 17% superannuation About the position The appointee will contribute to curriculum development, coordinate subjects, prepare and deliver subjects including teaching, consultation and marking, facilitate links between the school and industry, and undertake scholarly research and dissemination relevant to the development of learning and teaching in Finance. Duties will include but are not limited to: Develop, coordinate and deliver a high-quality learning experience that engages students through the conduct of workshops, practical classes, demonstrations, simulations, and other experiential learning and engagement activities. Demonstrate a scholarly approach to learning and teaching by contributing to La Trobe’s Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT) including outputs relating to disciplinary teaching pedagogy and sharing of good practice through conference and seminar presentations. Participate in innovative course level curriculum design, development and review. Demonstrate effectiveness by taking an evidence-based approach to evaluate learning and teaching initiatives. With mentoring support, as appropriate, obtain funding from internal or external sources for teaching improvement projects. Co-supervise postgraduate research students as required. Represent discipline/program or school at external events. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have: PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline area. Demonstrated competence in teaching, subject coordination and curriculum development. Evidence of innovative initiatives undertaken in the last three years that have improved student experience, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of these initiatives. Demonstrated ability to engage with the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT). Capability to obtain funding for learning and teaching improvement projects from internal or external grants/contracts/consultancies. We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Faculty Marketing Team on a full time permanent basis to further support our student recruitment marketing efforts. This post holder will support faculty objectives by working on the development of the faculty marketing plan and managing its implementation, collaborating with a wide range of academic and marketing stakeholders to bring the plan to life. The post holder will consult with faculty stakeholders acting as the link between global recruitment and marketing activity and academic colleagues to ensure joined up planning and impactful activity. They will work across the full marketing mix including product, positioning, proposition and messaging, as well as ensuring a feedback loop into faculty to share campaign reports and, where appropriate, deliver updates on sector insights and audience trends. This post holder will support academic colleagues to deliver ambitious growth plans, and work with the faculty to protect and grow market share and respond to changes in the wider recruitment environment.
