Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be required to: take up substantial teaching responsibilities for courses related to Chinese language education in the Cantonese Steam; develop course curriculum, teaching and assessment materials; carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; and support and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements The appointee should possess: a University degree and Master’s degree or equivalent in Chinese language and literature, teaching Chinese as a second language, linguistics, or another relevant field; relevant teaching experience (normally 3 years’ post-qualification experience at tertiary level); the ability to design and deliver new courses as well as to employ second language pedagogy. What We Offer The appointment will be made on a temporary hourly-paid basis for 1 year, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding availability. As an Upskilling Project Officer, you will provide operational project management support to deliver a national program focused on embedding eating disorder training, identification, and early intervention within Australia's mental health service system. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate project activities, maintain project documentation and reporting, support stakeholder engagement, and help ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and to a high standard. Monitor project progress, deliverables, and milestones, identifying risks or issues and implementing appropriate actions to maintain project momentum. Prepare, maintain, and coordinate project documentation, resources, data, and reporting to support effective project governance and decision-making. Facilitate project logistics, including scheduling meetings, training activities, workshops, and events, while coordinating stakeholders and venue arrangements. Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration, communication, and successful project outcomes. Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project methodologies, training platforms, and operational processes. Experience working with health services and/or supporting the implementation of new programs within healthcare or related environments will be highly regarded.
