On 30 September 2026, Times Higher Education will publish the World University Rankings 2027 – the most inclusive edition yet, spanning 118 countries and territories, up from 115 last year.

New, more granular rankings bands make it easier to compare institutions and benchmark performance, sharpening the picture for students, universities and policymakers alike.
