A mathematical model to predict the future success of Oxbridge interviewees might somehow have to account not only for points scored by talking the right talk during interview but any irrational mental turbulence induced later by saying the right (or wrong) words during undergraduate love affairs.

How many promising careers have changed direction after being hit by one of Cupid's hot little arrows?
