About the role We are looking to recruit a Programme Officer to join our team. The Programme Officer is responsible for essential work contributing to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. They will support students and academic staff as the first point of contact for queries, whether face-to-face, via phone or electronic media. The role is responsible for essential work to support the delivery of our programmes and for ensuring that student lifecycle activities run smoothly. With support to develop a working knowledge of regulations the Programme Officer is a valued and trusted member of a hard-working and friendly team and will have a keen eye for accuracy and detail. About the Role The Senior Lecturer in Remote Medicine will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning within the Northern Territory Medical Program (NTMP). This position focuses on designing and implementing remote health experiences, supervising medical students in primary care settings, and fostering innovative teaching practices. Drawing on extensive clinical expertise, the role also involves mentoring clinical supervisors, developing curricula, and building partnerships to enhance student success and graduate employability. Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of Remote Medicine teaching across NTMP, including clinical skills training and simulation. Supervise and assess Year 3 and 4 medical students and electives during extended remote placements. Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement of courses. Build and maintain partnerships with health services and stakeholders to support work-integrated learning and remote health initiatives. About You You are an experienced medical educator with a passion for remote health and a commitment to innovative teaching.
