An electronic archive of manuscripts chronicling the Hundred Years War has been created by academics at two institutions. The archive, which was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and created by scholars from the universities of Liverpool and Sheffield, offers more than 100 transcriptions of the work of Jehan Froissart, a medieval French chronicler. The material covers the period 1325-99 and offers a major source of information on the conflict.
