The world's first MA in financial journalism is to be launched in London this September. The course at City University London aims to tap into the growth of financial journalism, which has expanded as a result of the economic meltdown. The course will be led by former BBC economics correspondent Steve Schifferes, Marjorie Deane professor of financial journalism. "The financial crisis has shown the broader importance of understanding and reporting the world of finance and economics," he said.
