Job Requirements Holder of a Doctoral degree in related field from an accredited institution; Applicants currently in the final year of their PhD program will also be considered for the Assistant Professor position; Strong academic research ability and clear scientific research planning; Able to teach undergraduate or postgraduate course(s) independently; Successful experience in supervising undergraduate or postgraduate students; Priority considerations will be given to those having a good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; Preference will be given to Macao residents under the same condition. Remuneration The remuneration and appointment rank offered will be competitive and commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualifications, current position and professional experience.  The current local maximum income tax rate in Macao is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions. Location: Pan Wales Up to 12 days per year, unsalaried with travel and subsistence costs reimbursed The Welsh Government is seeking 4 members for the Board of the Education Workforce Council (the Council). The Council is the independent professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales. With around 90,000 registrants, it is Wales’ largest regulatory body and has the widest register of education practitioners in the world. As a member of the Council, you will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the EWC. You will bring independent judgement to bear on the Council’s performance to ensure its compliance and governance. The Welsh Government believes public bodies should have members who reflect Welsh society - people from all walks of life - to help them understand people's needs and make better decisions.
