Department of Health - New hope after a stroke

Incontinence suffered by stroke patients will be studied in a new £1.2 million research project funded by the Department of Health. Participating institutions will include the universities of Central Lancashire, Bangor, Edge Hill, Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian, Leeds and Newcastle. The programme will involve 13 stroke services and about 850 patients.
