They should have at least a combination of 5 years of professional, teaching and/or research experience, in Corporate Sustainability, Value Chain Management, Sustainability-related Disclosure or Circular Economy. Preference will be given to those who are accredited professionals with Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting related accreditations. These may include, but not limited to, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Professional Certification, Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate, European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS). Experience in teaching programme development and management will be an advantage. The appointee will contribute to the overall teaching and action research effectiveness in a wide spectrum of sustainability-related activities at the Centre, and be responsible for curriculum planning and development, validation and accreditation of new and/or existing programmes, and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He/She will also support the work of the Academy for Sustainable Communities established under the Centre and perform other teaching and research-related duties as assigned by the Director. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At the current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. About the role This is an outstanding development opportunity for a talented individual who wishes to advance excellent and innovative research and education, especially on the care and support of children and young people with life limiting conditions or medical complexity, their families and the workforce that care for them. This academic post will be working with our Chair of Palliative Care and Child Health, Lorna Fraser and will support an NIHR funded programme Improving Care for children with life-limiting Conditions: developing, adapting, implementing and evaluating interventions (ICICLE). You will contribute to new grant applications and advise on studies to completion and publication, including supervision of research team members. You will also contribute to teaching and provide PhD and MSc supervision. This post will be full-time in the Cicely Saunders Institute and will be a fixed term contract until 30/11/29 in the first instance. We particularly seek applicants with experience and expertise of one or more of the following: developing or evaluating complex interventions, research in child health, especially those with complex or life-limiting conditions, or palliative care. Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently seeking an academic with expertise in Industrial Design, and we will consider applicants from entry level to senior academics, to join the exciting, new Wellington Institute of Zhengzhou University joint educational partnership in Zhengzhou, China, on a permanent, full-time basis. The level of appointment, either Pūkenga - Lecturer, Pūkenga Matua - Senior Lecturer, or Ahonuku - Associate Professor, will depend on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. This role is based in China full-time, and teaching is to be conducted in English. As this is an international programme, we welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates from New Zealand and overseas.
