Freedom to make loads of dosh

If you thought the Freedom of Information Act existed to make public organisations such as colleges and universities accountable, think again.

It is, of course, to make money - or so Trinity and All Saints College, accredited by Leeds University, appears to think.

The college demands £11.75 to respond to any request, whether or not the information exists. When this was questioned, the college said that if there was no information available, it would "advise against making the request".
