Multidisciplinary Research & Commercialisation Wing (MDRCW):
Superior University is working tirelessly on the commercialisation of research in collaboration with faculties within the framework through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research groups across the university, which have been further strengthened by the creation of ‘Multidisciplinary Research & Commercialisation Wing (MDRCW)’. MDRCW facilitates more than 42 multidisciplinary research groups to execute more than 32 projects in 45 labs while working closely with these groups until the complete transfer of developed technologies with proper commercialisation.

Entrepreneurial ecosystem
Superior University aims to establish a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem to enable sustainable, self-sufficient, and progressive communities where people are trained and facilitated to take initiatives, face risks, practice innovation, and eventually; achieve financial independence. Description We are seeking Post-Doctoral Associates who are passionate about Data Science, with an emphasis in Computational Social Science, with a starting date of September 1, 2026. Some of the possible research topics include: (i) social media analysis, (ii) collaboration and teamwork, (iii) gender inequality, (iv) diversity, (v) online controlled experiments, and (vi) network science. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and hard-working with a PhD in Data Science, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, or Information Science. The position requires experience with at least one of the following: Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, Big Data. Relevant skills could include statistical analysis, data management and collection, causal inference, network analysis, graph theory, visualizations, and online tool development. Experience in conducting online controlled experiments is also desired, but not required. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential. Selected candidates will spend half their time on collaborative research with Bedoor AlShebli, an Assistant Professor in Computational Social Science in the Social Science Division at NYUAD, and half their time on independent research. Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum.
