The Sunway Career Portal connects students to over 8,000 global employers, resulting in one of the strongest internship pipelines in the region. This is complemented by the Career Xperience Series, which offers tailored support ranging from resume clinics to mock interviews. Supplementing this is the CareerX Internship Program, which works with Sunway iLabs to offer Entrepreneurship Internships to students with diverse interests, allowing them to work closely with start-ups, or even develop their own business venture.

Every year, Sunway engages with employers through on-campus career fairs. 2025’s Get Hired Career Fair featured close to 100 employers, including the likes of Deloitte, Maybank, Coach, Shopee, HSBC, and many, many more. And that wasn’t the only career fair of the year, as the 2025 STEM Career Fair brought together over 40 industries looking to hire interns and graduates from STEM backgrounds. In addition to this, the Sunway Student Volunteers programme led over 360 sustainability-driven initiatives in 2024 alone, reflecting the University’s dedication to student-led community impact. International understanding and cross-cultural skills are fostered through the Sunway Global Friends programme. where local students guide and support international peers as they adapt to campus life.
