Since its inception in 1994, National Dong Hwa University has not only strived to fortify its campus infrastructure and carry out its teaching and research responsibilities, but it has also initiated a variety of educational programs for extensive community outreach in Eastern Taiwan. The main campus of NDHU, located 16 km south of Hualien city with an area covering more than 251 hectares (650 acres), is the largest flat land campus in Taiwan. Nestled between the Coastal Mountain Range and the Central Mountain Range in the verdant and pristine Papaya Creek Delta, the University is situated in a spectacularly beautiful natural environment.

As a knowledge provider and the breeding ground, NDHU offers a liberal environment, green campus and a wide range of research/innovation centers, catering to nearly 10,000 students coming from more than 50 countries around the world. The University offers various training and professional development opportunities that increase the availability of local human resources, it also shares many of its resources, such as the library and athletic and teaching facilities with schools in the local area. Many of the faculty members play an active role in local educational and cultural projects, lending their experience and guidance to a vast array of activities.

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse active on the NMC register to join the Mental Health Nursing Team in the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at the University of Southampton. The team is experienced, friendly, and supportive and is enthusiastic and committed to developing the Mental Health Nurses of the future. Mental Health Nurses with experience working with children, young people and their families, as well as those with extensive knowledge of working with older people, would complement our current team, but this is not essential. You will be involved in the face-to-face delivery of our nationally recognised pre-registration BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing, our Integrated Masters of Nursing leading to registration as a Mental Health/Adult Nurse or Children’s/Mental Health Nurse, and our 2 year MSc Mental Health Nursing programme. You will have an exceptional understanding of issues facing contemporary clinical practice in Mental Health Nursing founded in your own clinical practice. You will have completed a Masters level qualification and ideally have higher education experience. This position involves overseeing and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality services related to enrolment and student progress. The Coordinator acts as an escalation point for complex enquiries, offering specialised guidance to SAS advisors, and serves as a key contact for staff and students regarding student administration policies and procedures. This position will work closely with the College Manager of Student Administration Services to deliver support services, develop strategic goals, review business processes, and enhance systems to improve the student experience across a range of student administration activities. The Coordinator in Enrolment and Student Progress will also: Be a subject matter expert for enrolment, course planning and student progress matters, and provide  impartial advice and support to College Executive staff, academics, external stakeholders and relevant committees on related matters. Coordinate and deliver high-quality, timely enrolment and student progress services at the College level, managing complex student inquiries and cases in line with University policies, procedures, and relevant legislation. Contribute to the coordination and support of university wide enrolment preparation and monitoring activities, and other relevant engagement activities or projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and retention rates at a College level. About You As the Coordinator in Enrolment and Student Progress, you will be required to learn and adapt within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. You will have excellent time-management, organisational and problem-solving skills, allowing you to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines as required. You will develop and maintain positive relationships within the Student Administration Team as well as with external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and take initiative, ensuring successful outcomes for the University. To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate: Experience in managing the provision of support services in a large, diverse, and dynamic work environment, and to provide advice and recommendation on strategic matters to senior management.
