Adjunct instructors work with students to provide them with the knowledge and training they need to be successful in their chosen career.Adjunct faculty members may teach one or more courses each semester based on availability and student need. These courses may meet during the day, evening, or online, based on the adjunct faculty's availability, expertise, and program/student need. The initial appointment is up to 10 months with a possibility of a second contract (10-month contract) upon mutual agreement. Qualifications Applicants should have a Master’s degree in the field of Japanese Linguistics, Japanese Education, Japanese Literature, or Japanese Culture from an accredited program and some experience and/or qualifications in teaching Japanese language to non-native students.
