Who We Are Looking For The research team is seeking a highly-motivated postdoc/researcher to collaborate on ongoing projects focused on evaluating potential links between the exposome and health outcomes (e.g., incidence or mortality of cancer, cardiovascular, or respiratory diseases). The post holder will focus on one or more of the following areas: Cancer Epidemiology – investigating environmental, psychosocial, and social exposures in relation to common cancers, including ecological, cohort or multi-level analyses, using a range of data (e.g. registers, spatial data, biomarkers of health effects, phenotype, GWAS and other -omics data). Agrotechnology research focuses on the development of environmentally sustainable technologies for farming and food production. Many future trends in agriculture require adoption of new technologies and their integration within existing processes. Electrification of machinery, automation, information systems, and machine intelligence represent technological methods that are important for future in order to develop environmentally sustainable farming processes, improve energy and production efficiency, and mitigate environmental impacts.
