Since its establishment in 1997, Ton Duc Thang University has rapidly evolved into one of Vietnam's most rapidly growing universities. RECOGNITIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS:

In a significant achievement on 2 July 2018, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) received recognition from The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) for its compliance with French and European university standards. This prestigious accreditation is valid for a five-year term, spanning from July 2018 to July 2023.

Notably, the UI Greenmetric World University Rankings (UI GreenMetric) positioned Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) at an impressive rank of 114 out of 1,050 prominent universities across the globe in December 2022.

In the year 2023, THE (Times Higher Education) unveiled the University Impact Rankings to applaud institutions worldwide for their contributions to social and economic progress, in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. TDTU secured a rank within 601-800 in the comprehensive 2023 rankings, showcasing particularly strong performance in categories such as decent work and economic growth, responsible consumption and production, as well as peace, justice, and strong institutions.

They should have at least a combination of 5 years of professional, teaching and/or research experience, in Corporate Sustainability, Value Chain Management, Sustainability-related Disclosure or Circular Economy. Preference will be given to those who are accredited professionals with Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting related accreditations. These may include, but not limited to, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Professional Certification, Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate, European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS). Experience in teaching programme development and management will be an advantage. The appointee will contribute to the overall teaching and action research effectiveness in a wide spectrum of sustainability-related activities at the Centre, and be responsible for curriculum planning and development, validation and accreditation of new and/or existing programmes, and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He/She will also support the work of the Academy for Sustainable Communities established under the Centre and perform other teaching and research-related duties as assigned by the Director. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At the current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. This role supports the King’s Business School.  About the role Role Purpose The Faculty Marketing team is the face of the Global Student Recruitment and Admissions team with internal stakeholders. This team plays a critical role in providing expertise and student recruitment and marketing support to our faculties. The Faculty Marketing Manager will use in-depth understanding of their assigned faculty/faculties to lead the delivery of marketing efforts to support successful attraction of prospective students. The role will lead the development and delivery of comprehensive marketing plans for the faculty, working closely with stakeholders to ensure contribution and engagement in the creation and delivery of plans and campaigns aligned to faculty student recruitment goals. The role will collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Global Student Recruitment and Admissions teams to communicate marketing plans, ensuring they are designed to support the overall delivery of recruitment plans and targets. Key responsibilities Implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns based on critical understanding of the faculty targets and courses. Support the development of faculty recruitment plans ensuring that marketing strategies align to faculty student recruitment targets. Manage marketing projects, plans and activities from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget allocation. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues within the Global Student Recruitment and Admissions team to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies, plans and campaigns. Conduct market research to understand student needs and preferences, to deliver marketing initiatives that represent the student voice, and ensure marketing activities resonate with the target audience. Monitor and analyse data to provide regular reports on marketing activity, demonstrating progress against targets, return on investment and outcomes. Work closely and collaboratively with marketing and communications colleagues across the university to ensure the delivery of consistent and cohesive marketing plans. Proactively identify and implement improvements to marketing activities to enhance performance. Description The Water Research Center at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to develop calix[n]arene-based covalent organic frameworks for water purification, under the supervision of Professor Ali Trabolsi, Professor of Chemistry and co-PI at the Water Research Center. The successful candidate will develop new calix[n]arene-based covalent organic frameworks for water purification applications. To explore this area of macrocycle-based porous frameworks for water contaminant removal, the candidate will be involved in the directed synthesis of organic macrocycle containing linkers and porous frameworks and then investigate the supramolecular interactions with various organic pollutants. This would require knowledge in the design and synthesis of porous frameworks, particularly in techniques such as Schlenk line, glove box, powder X-ray diffraction, electron diffraction, electron microscopy, and porosity analysis. The candidate is expected to have a thorough understanding of the analytical techniques used to characterize the materials. Experience in the application of such materials to water treatment is preferred. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry or materials science.  Excellent experimental and synthetic skills relevant to the project (particularly, synthesis of covalent organic frameworks) are required. The University of Helsinki is strengthening its innovation activities and the societal impact of its research. The strategic priorities are, in particular, to increase RDI cooperation with companies, support the creation of new student- and research-driven companies, establish open research infrastructures and experimentation environments, and strengthen the university’s innovation culture. Your task is to build externally funded projects (especially under Horizon Europe) focusing on innovation activities, collaboration with companies, and ecosystem development, in cooperation with university researchers and external partners.
