The CLEP primarily aims to equip students with the requisite Chinese language skills for academic and professional pursuits. Be capable of designing and teaching practical Chinese courses. Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, along with proficiency in Putonghua. Maintain a portfolio showcasing the application of AI and Information Technology in Chinese language and culture teaching. Preference will be extended to applicants who possess one or more of the following additional qualifications: Experience in language enhancement funded projects, such as UGC’s TDLEG or the University's teaching development initiatives. Experience in Experiential Learning (EL) and in organizing and leading EL programmes and student outbound activities. A high level of competence in written English. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the CLEP courses and working on language enhancement projects, together with some administrative duties.
