Brussels, 22 Oct 2004

A workshop on negotiating research contracts for the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Cambridge, the UK, on 23 November.

The aim of the event is to provide an overview of the negotiation process: what to expect, how to prepare, and how to survive. It will explain who is involved in the process, what the options are, what the Commission requires, and the parallel negotiations between the project partners on how the work will be managed.

Workshop participants should have read the Commission's model contract and be familiar with its cost models.
