On 3 June 2004 the Commission appointed 45 members to the consultative committee for research. Their appointment was made in accordance with the criteria set out in decision 2001/531/CE , Euratom of the Commission, on June 2001, related to the creation of a European consultative committee for research (OJ L 192, 14.7.2001, p. 21).
