On the 375th anniversary of the birth of astronomer Christiaan Huygens, the European Space Agency (ESA) is organising an international conference on Saturn and Titan, Saturn's largest moon, discovered by Huygens in 1655.

The conference will be held in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, from 13 to 17 April, and will begin with a tribute to Huygens and his contributions to astronomy and science. The results of recent observations of Saturn and Titan will be presented, along with an overview of the Cassini-Huygens mission.

The conference will end with a public outreach day aimed at amateur astronomers, who will have the opportunity to present, in the form of posters or exhibits, their latest observations of Saturn and Titan.
